Did you need an extra set of hands to install the mounts? Any line up issue of the hood after loosening the bolts

Got my @CaliRaisedLed Light covers today and about 20 min later they were installed. All you do is glue the magnets onto the lights with he provided glue and then the magnets stay on the ditch lights so the covers will quickly pop on and off.
I got AMBER and RED for my covers.
Can't wait till it gets dark !

Unless you're doing 3 foot whoops at 90+ mph yeah, I think they will hold just fine for your normal off roading needs.

That red is an interesting look.
Is there a specific purpose for it?

Yes. Thats what i did. I just peel back the rubber gasket a little bit and sticked the wires through. I will try to take a picture for you

That would be awesome. When I did the pop lock I went through the passenger side. It was a pretty good spot but I don't necessarily want to run the wires under the dash to the driver side.

Is there a purpose or benefit to Amber or Red over regular light output?

Not necessary red, but amber cuts through dust and fog and helps you see better.

Perfect, thanks....some probably a good idea to combine. Perhaps Amber ditch, standard fog, etcc?

Anyone have issues on the apex brackets rubbing on the plastic cowling? Any pics on how you wired it inside the engine bay from the ditch lights ?
