    They should pay whatever it takes to " Make You Whole Again " to coin the phrase commonly tossed around in the insurance game.

    Bad advice. Have his insurance pay for the medical costs but this country needs to stop trying to get extra money for "pain and suffering". Its why our rates are so high. There's no honor in lawsuits.

    I retained a lawyer yesterday. His investigator noted that the receiver hitch drawbar took the initial impact and was bent. He's pretty sure that it also put the frame out-of-wack. He also pointed out where the bed had hit and dented the cab. In the meantime I have headaches pretty much all the time and dealing with the insurance company isn't making things better.

    I'm not trying to make money from this accident, but want to make sure that any future medical expenses related to the accident are paid for by the other driver.

    The truck will never be right, and with a straightened frame it will have a very low resale value. Get what you can and move on.
