Local shop called East County Drive shaft. I picked it up yesterday, looks great. I provided parts (3) new Spicer u joints and Toyota carrier support bearing.

Dude repacked slip joint, tack welded balance weight that was falling off, pressed joints, and installed CSB for $60.

Rocky Mt driveline in highland. Same people Leo referred me to after getting his done. They got back to me on standard thickness 3 joint's and the hanger $469. Thicker tube was $655 I told them I'll come by to pick it up in the coming days as I was not preared to spend that much

Huh that is odd, I only spent like 250-300 to get mine fixed. And mine was flat on one side. We're they quoting you a re tube on both sides, new carrier bearing, and new u joints.

1 new tube and 3 joints. I'll shop around a bit more and may end up biting the bullet. Now I feel really lucky to have found the spare

That sounds ridiculously expensive. I would keep looking for a different shop option. Got my driveshaft retubed with much thicker material for $140.

Need some battery advice. My Diehard Platinum 31M has died on me. I'm headed to Sears tomorrow to see if I can get a refund on it since they don't make the battery anymore. With that being said, I need a new 31M battery with the dual post setup like the Diehard. Any suggestions?

Mine died after 2.5 years last month. I took it in and they replaced it under warranty with their new line (forgot what its called). Group 31, four post, less CCA though. They also gave me about $140 back. I can take a pic of it after work if that would help.

Take a pic if you don't mind. I think it's their gold line, or something like that. Mine is about 2.5 years old as well. I guess theirs a reason they discontinued the line. Too bad I have two of them in my Ford.

I saw that one. Nice specs, but of course it's pricey.

Were you able to swing a good deal last time?

Yeah I think it is something like that. I'll upload a pic later.
