facccck it, ordered a gopro session to pick up on my way home from work. going on a riding trip this weekend should have some footage of it

 

The new one or old one? They just came out with the hero 5 session.

 

The old one. The 1080 60fps is all I need.

 

I'm going to buy a hero 5 the day it comes out. Unless the silver 4s price drops big time

 

About time they made it waterproof

 

Ehh I liked having the shell because it protected the camera its self from a lot of potential damage. As long as I can have a changeable lens cover though I don't really care.

 

I want the Karma system cause dat gimbal.

Is see. I wonder if the 100 extra dollars is worth the 2 more MP and 4k and the video stabilization. The new one also has voice control but not sure how much I would use that or need it. I want to get one soon

The hero 5 black is listed cheaper than the hero 4 black is available for right now. Hero 5 is going to be 399.99 and the hero 4 black is 449.99 everywhere I've looked and it doesn't have a screen

 

IMO it's not. The 4k is at 30fps but there is a boost to 60fps at 1440, and 90 at 1080. But 60fps is already plenty unless you are wanting to do slow mo. The video stabilization might be cool though. Also if you've ever compared 4k to 1080p it's pretty minor differences that won't really be noticed while watching videos.

No the new session is $299. So $100 more

So 4silver with a whole drilled in the case and some silicone around it will likely be my next setup.

 

Thats a big thing. People are already bitching about lens covers for it; and for good reason. I'd have to have one on it too
