So yours 120 should be 60 for how ever many years. Not even sure if they have just front wheel alignment

Pretty sure most places only offer 4 wheel align. If you ask for 2 wheel since it's a truck, they laugh at you until you pay them for the 4 wheel anyway.

He's saying you should only pay half that cost since only the front can be aligned, but I don't think the chains allow that. They have one price for 2 or 4 wheel. Also, think I paid $80 a couple years ago for a one-time, so I don't think your price is that bad.

He's saying they should only be charging 60 for your truck since it's only half the work.

Makes sense. It's driving really good, better than it ever has tbh. I'm happy with it. I may even drive up north to have that same tech do it when I install coilovers.

The rear axle can be aligned, but the wheels (toe, camber, caster) cannot. I think they put the reflectors on the rear wheels to make sure the rear axle is aligned, meaning the axle is perpendicular to the length of the car.

There's a shop up in Pflugerville that I take my truck to for alignments. They get it spot on every time and even fixed mistakes caused by other alignment shops. $60 for a 2-wheel, but they also check the rears. As far as I know, if you haven't been in an accident or gotten frame damage, the rear axle shouldn't need to be changed. If it does, there are these things called thrust plates that let them slide the axle forward/backward on each side to get it right.

If your getting more then 3 alignments a year it doesn't make a difference. I've buy the 3 year NTB alignment and have lifetime balance and rotate for my tires. It makes my life a little easier. I take my truck in every few months and have them rotated balance and align it.

I'm thinking that if you loosen u bolts on leafs with rear end off the ground and push one side forward and other side backwards on the center pins and then tighten back up that the rear toe will change a small amount. My rr toe changed from being about dead even to being off extra negative (-6) on one side and had tiny positive (+2) on the other when I swapped out my leafs. I found that out when getting new tires recently and seeing the rr measurements. I know there isn't a lot of play on center pins by any means but do feel there is enough for the machine to see because before that one side was like -3 and the other was -2 from previous alignment......and there has been nothing else happen that could have changed it except swapping leafs.

    You mean -0.6 0.2 -0.3 and -0.2?
With out the decimal -6 degrees of toe would put your wheel almost 3 inches off center.

Sorry. Just my engineering brain messing around.
