What's the reason for the horizontal tube above the bedrail, instead of just the angle iron / "L" shaped iron that's on the other side of the middle hoop?

So you can utilize the bed rail in that section

Phil @TucTaco520 when you going to have this thing painted and mounted?

120 wall DOM, not much need for 4130 on a 1500lb Manx sand buggy with stock susp. (plus the owner didn't want to spend the extra $$).

Question for ya guys.. I really like the idea of the nfab bumpers for 2nd gen tacomas that hold two 30" led bars. What would be the chances something like that could be made for my first gen?

I'm sure we could prototype one! The 1st gen grille isn't as wide and may not took good with 30" bars though..

I think the 30s would look good if you get curved bars and keep the front of the bumper a slight radius to match the rounded grill of the 01-04. Obviously older 1st gens are flatter....

Yeah I started to think the same thing. Was trying to picture it. Probly go with 20"ers. Idk. Just a thought I had and was wondering if itd even be possible to replicate. Gonna be going with a bumper at some point and there's only one other bumper I like which is the relentless.. Then started to think about this idea. I'm not in a hurry for it either. Just throwing this out there to see what your thoughts were. Gonna put some more thought into it myself and will let you know. Just afraid it won't turn out as good looking because of reasons you mentioned with 2nd gens being wider and all... Any idea how long something like that would take though?
