Back on the road. The crossover pipe on my headers was leaking out of the flex joint. Had to get another welded on. Slow going. Need my front shocks resi outputs redone. Because the front still sits to high with barely any preload. Turbos still spooling.....

Going to bend some tUber too that go over the cooler and down to the OE skid mounts. Put small steel plates for skid with lots of holes/air flow hopefully leaving most of the cooler open but skid plating where I don't need the air

What size are your springs? If you're sitting too high with little pre load I would think its the spring length being too long or the tension being too high.

Not sure how to find that out. Does it say on the spring? I ordered from DSMS and told them it was for a 1st Gen but things got messed up anyway. My resis were clocked wrong but it wasn't their fault, so I wouldn't be surprised if the springs were too. I asked for 600lb Springs. The spring is almost to the top with hardly any preload and it sits high enough to where the camber bows out a little at the top no matter how I adjust it.

Typically the spring rate is stamped or printed on the spring somewhere. 600 lbs is not a light spring, I think the stock Tacoma spring is under 500? I think a lot of people go too big on the springs because they think they need too to compensate for the abuse they'll put the truck through but it's often over looked that an 8" travel coilsover is going to have a substantially higher spring force at max compression. I.e. Even using the same 600 rate spring at max bump you'll have nearly 2000 lbs more force pushing back up on the long travel setup.

It could also be that the springs are too long if you're not able to zero them out stance wise. I personally would get a taller shock mount in the front fender wells and put some 10" coilovers in. Then you can use a dual rate coilover and get a way better DD ride.

The info on the springs should be printed on the coils, King used to scribe the info on the bottom of the coil too. If you have 18" springs you could swap them for 16" and run the coil spring retainer lower to clear your resi fitting.

Was happy I got my rear ARB working. I think I just had it on the wrong solenoid because there are two. One for front locker and one for rear. Anyway I got it straightened out. Put her back legs off the ground, spun opposite ways while not locked. Then locked and both spun together. Also tightened my 3rd bolts as they were loose and leaking a little diff fluid from somewhere. I like the compressor it has a quick air release for deflating your tires. And inflating is easy too because you don't have to hold it on the valve stem. You just hook it on and walk away. Also cut out more of my bedside fiberglass. Had a bit of a clearance issue for full flexing out the rear axle. Should clear now. Cut out some of the fender and then a straight line all the way around to the tailgate.

Hey Josh, I texted you the other day but I think maybe you have a different # now. I'm getting methanol from Bandimere Speedway for $3.60 a gallon IIRC. I'm now using a 50/50 mix which is easier to measure

Hey man! My bad. Hoping all is well your way. Things have been hard lately. Life has its curves. So, why would you buy it at $3.60 a gallon? Then do you add distilled water? I didn't know you put a meth system on yours. Why not just buy a gallon of premixed for $2?

Hey Josh would you be willing to post all of your FIC maps? I'm having some trouble getting mine squared away and I think our systems are pretty similar.

I can but I need to get into my FIC. I don't have the AEM software on my laptop but I can. I didn't tune mine. Only thing I didn't do on my truck really. So tell me, if I upload the software and connect it will the map come up? Because I want my map too in case anything happened to my system.

Wish I took more pics from this trip but I got a video or two that are cool. All 4 wheels off the ground and it glided on landing too easy. Once I get my bumps I WILL launch it. Aired down the tires to 15psi and I tore through the trails. Full Long Travel is absolutely insane.

With the software open connect your fic and there will be a tab/button toward the top left "connect to fic", from there choose the connect from fic option. There are several maps you can open with the tabs along the top of the program.

It might make you open a blank map first in order to even connect.
