SOLD - 2016 Tacoma Entune Audio Plus

For sale, the Entune Audio + from the 2016 3rd Gen Tacoma SR5. This is the one that uses "Scout GPS" on your phone.

What's included is what you see in the pictures. Just the head unit, the XM module (if you want it) and the mounting brackets.

Price includes shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 add $12 more for AK, HI, PR, GU, and VI.

Price Drop = $150 for headunit with XM.

 

What did you replace yours with?

 

The Entune Premium w/o JBL. Had to get the bezel for the larger unit, but looks good.

 

Did you end up biting the bullet and buying the bezel from the dealer? I'm still working to make mine look better after trimming it. Still needs some work.

 

I spent the $ and ordered the OEM trim. I hot wire cut the trim and just couldn't get a good look at all. The fit was good but looked junky. For me it was worth the money and the fit is perfect.

Also the fit is flush with the proper trim vs sticking out a little with the non-premium.

 

How much was it?

 

$220ish with shipping. Came really fast too. Ordered Friday arrived Wednesday. And they had to special order the part.

Less than 2k miles on the truck so really wanted a good look and a cruthfield fit kit wasn't much cheaper and I keep all the factory options. Worth it IMO.

Yes, total plug and play, but I have a 2016 Taco and the radio was 2016. I think you'll run into issues if the years don't match. It was crazy simple and so easy that the whole thing was much easier and more pleasant than expected.

The worst part was the getting the new, larger bezel piece. But even knowing that, I wouldn't change a thing. Pandora is only instantly, as long as the app is running and the navigation is actually not bad and I finally have a 'you're headed SE' which is really nice.

Was sold, but not, figured out it wouldn't fit. To be certain, you should have a 2016 or 2017 to ensure maximum compatibility and proper fit.

 

I'm shocked a 2nd gen owner hasn't picked this up yet.

What's the difference in performance between the Entune and the Entune Premium without JBL?

 

There are several Entune models and I don't know if there's one just called an Entune.

 

So I got a base model SR, whats the difference betwen my Radio and this one? I know i don't have xm in mine.
