The combination of newer shocks, axle relo plate and front skids has given my truck too much of a rake for my taste. Going to see if I can adjust my coilovers enough to make up the difference once the bumper is on.

You're going to love that axle relocation plate. I hated having my tire dig into my fenders.

Nice choice on the Shrockworks front bumper! Have you thought about what you're going to be doing for a rear bumper?

That's great to hear! Not only was the rubbing annoying the hell out of me, I hated the way the truck looked with the rear axle pushed forward. Such an easy fix...don't know why I waited for so long.

Thanks man! I had them add the support bars on the center hoop since I liked the look of them so much. Turned out even better than I'd hoped.

I plan on going with CBI's bushmaster bumper without the side tube protection. I chose this one since it has a pretty low profile and I'll have to cut the bed when installed. This works well for me since I have a dent in the area that needs to be cut. I also plan on purchasing their overland bed rack.

Nice! I'll be looking forward to seeing the how the truck turns out with the cut bedsides. I've been thinking about doing a high clearance rear for my truck with dual swingouts for mine, but unsure if I want to cut the bedsides yet.

With the dent my truck had when I bought it, it was an easy decision for me. If you have good/dent-free bed sides, I'd vote for not cutting. Totally your call though. I was thinking of a tire carrier/swing outs as well...just don't want my truck to get any longer. It'll be cool to see how your truck ends up as well.

Actually thinking of going with 255/85-16 on my next set...just to try it out. Not too many tire choices in that size though.

Don't those look purdy. I remember when mine looked that clean. Did you get the extended or standard travel?

Yes they do! Your input is part of the reason why I went ahead and jumped on a set. They were on sale too. I went with the ext travel.

BTW - Do you still have your front sway bar installed? I'm wondering if keeping mine on will limit the "ext travel" feature. Might just have to try it out for myself, then decide. The truck is still my daily driver and my wife drives it every once in a while. Probably safer to keep it on.

Nice! I don't have my swaybar on. I got tired of it limiting travel in the front. If you have UCAs the extended should be fine. I got rather use to the lean after a while, but if your wife is going to drive it every now and then it might better to have it on when you're not wheeling the truck. I'm the only one who drives my truck so I'm totally use to the lean and just accept it.

Thanks for the advice. I noticed in your build thread that you did remove it. I do have Camburg uniball UCAs, so I should be good there.

Nice truck! I really like that front bumper. I know most run relentless or AP plate bumpers, wonder why no love for the shrockworks? Looks awesome imo. Where you in big bear today? I think I may have spotted you in a convoy on the Blvd around 5:30pm.

Thanks man. I was really wanting a Demello Off Road plate bumper but they were only making them as custom orders so it would've been about twice the price of their production bumpers. So I got in a group buy for the Shrockworks bumper and asked them to add the extra tubes to the center hoop. It turned out better than expected. DO is planning on making a first gen bumper now if you're looking...you can add them to the list of options (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/demello-offroad-front-bumper-interest-thread.451222/).

I was in Big Bear and around that time and was with 4 other trucks. We stopped at one of the donut shops out there before heading back home. Now that I think about it, I may have seen your truck too!
