Hey guys, thought I would throw a little review up to aid anyone looking for raised letters for their tailgate stamping.

At first I was trying to find an alternative, I really did not want to spend $49.99 on 6 letters. But I definitely wanted raised/embossed letters for the 3d look and I must say these are top notch. The adhesive is very strong and sticky, I used a heat gun just to warm the panel and decal right before I stuck it on. They lined up perfect and they were the perfect size to fill in the flat portion of the stamping. The letters are thick, not hard but not flimsy and they hold their shape.

Would definitely purchase again if somebody rear-ended my tailgate!

    Available here:

    and also on Ebay

I actually almost ordered them but refused to because there were no close up and installed pictures of them showing detail. The 3d decals are really easy to install because they are the exact shape of the flat portion of the stamp, so you cant overlap where the angled portion of the letters is like you could with a regular vinyl sticker.

Yeah mine are exactly installed like that and very easy peel and stick with no way to screw it up IMO but not raised / domed. Just flat shiny black. Whatever they used to cut 'em left behind some residual adhesive that cleaned up after this was taken.

I also put Tufskinz letters on my Tundra. IMG_8527.jpg I received them as a gift from my wish list. I like the look, but am wondering how they’ll hold up going through a car wash.

I haven't compared these directly to the tufskinz, but they are less than half the cost and mine look great. It was the only place I could find Army Green other than tufskinz. I bought several different items and was very happy with my purchases. I wanted to accent my black Taco in Army green since it's subtle and I really wanted that color truck , but had to settle lol

These look almost identical to the OEM Toyota ones. PT948-35181-02

I got the Toyota OEM letters for $45 with free shipping.
