Guess I could chime in since I've ridden in and driven his truck. Those beads work awesome on his truck. I used some premium air soft bbs, same principle by my standards. At first I went with 8oz and worked alright but had a slight imbalance at certain speeds, so I added 3oz to each wheel to fix it. That turned out to be a disaster making the truck unbearable to drive, I ultimately gave up and went back to standard wheel weights.

My advice would be buy the actual dyna beads because they fit in the valve stem, and you'll likely be able to vacuum them out if it doesn't work

Thanks for the compliments, like you I've shed multiple sets of stick on wheel weights and it too drove me nuts. I read about the beads and did all I could to learn about them before I decided to buy them. I have them in my Tacoma and my Land Cruiser tires and I swear by them. I've never had any inconsistency with them as they always work. When we added the air soft beads to Chandler's tires the first test drive was to get lunch and the drive to town was sketchy. The drive back was perfect. Sadly he suffered inconsistency with his and ended up pulling them out.

If you have other questions about them don't hesitate to ask.

I do have the 315's. the DynaBead website recommends 8oz per tire/wheel for off-road vehicles and that's what I went with. Check the links section in the second post of the thread and you can read up about it on their site.

Excellent day today. After closer inspection it turns out that it was the "ignition 2" fuse that sends power to two other fuses and a couple of relays that was dead. We had pulled that fuse and looked at it twice but apparently hadn't looked close enough as it was burnt not at the narrow middle fillament, but on one of the thicker legs. Go figure. Got to talk to the tech and he said that it got past him the first time as well. Told him what the OBD II was telling and he said his was doing the same.

So excited to have my trail limo back in action. Now to put everything back together, clean it up, and pack for Expo East.

@ChandlerDOOM, wanna help me wire the fridge?

Yup, October 6-9. Will go in bed with the combo slide. I'll deal with the holes later when the Goose-Gear stuff arrives.

That's how I am as well. Had a lucky Sunday back a few weeks ago when I almost lost my motorcycle key driving down to Oklahoma and another when I saved a crash at the track but that's the only luck I've had ever

Excited to say that the container ship "Sri Lanka" has departed Brisbane, Australia and is now in Wellington, New Zealand picking up/dropping off before it departs to cross the Pacific to the Port of Long Beach with our trailer aboard. Currently the estimated arrival is the 29th of October and from there I will have to make arrangements to get it to us just east of the Mississippi river. Very excited as this will definitely be a game changer for us and hopefully for our friends that we tour and camp with.

Maybe have a willing local member hook it up and drive it to you? Testing it for you along the way of course- you know, to make sure no damage occurred during transit.

Finally had a chance to sort through some of the pictures of the Tacoma that were taken at the Appalachian Toyota Round-Up on Labor Day weekend. Here are a few favorites.
