I have been having problems with the amount of power coming out of my truck it is a 2012 tacoma with a V6. Lately it has been lacking some acceleration and having troubles getting into 3rd gear. This only really becomes an issue if I get stopped at a stop light on or just before a hill since I won't be able to get into 3rd gear and end up slowly going up hills. If I am already going 60km/hr it isn't a problem. Not really sure what the issue decided to post here hoping to get some ideas from some people who have a little more experience than I do, any help is greatly appreciated!

Does the engine not have the power or is the transmission not shifting properly.

Do you have a CEL Light on?

Ah, a completely separate problem, my CEL, Abs, malfunction, and tire pressure lights are always on. I will have to reset them (they come back on if a few days after resetting them). However, in answer to your problem I believe to be more of a power problem since if increase the throttle I don't get any increase in power even if I shift down to a lower gear it still won't go above 40km/hr and even 'flooring' it any given situation doesn't give me anymore power.
