    how high was your bed rack? Most of these guys that have it built half way up say its 12" above the bed rails.

    I've had both, and I prefer it being way in the air to get underneath in various weather. I also can't really tell that there's any wind drag at all. It does look better though flush with the roof or slightly below or above it.

    I think it looks nicer flush as well but I still think my bed will be functional with the tent half way or less about the cab but will still allow me to get into the bed of my truck

    I had mine half way. Loved how it looked but hated the limited space underneath. I now have a shell with a rack and love it. Surprisingly I didn't lose any mpg and no issues with wind drag.

    I found a better solution. I just decided to smash my work phone so the screen doesn't work. Off that call now.. Phone doesn't do anything now.
