    id like to say that the fact that in 90 years, toyota is still making vehicles with bad frames is appauling to me.

    Pretty much stock right now
    The buybacks of model year 1996 ended in 2011. 15 years from the "in service" date. You can always check with Toyota to verify.

    Well you should also remember the frames were subcontracted out

    Then till you found out you had a major problem how many years have gone past.

    To the Op either fix it

    Sell it as it is

    Part it out.

    To the OP: The truck is 20 years old. Do you really expect Toyota to cover it for that long? My God...in 5 years, it'll be classified as an ANTIQUE.
