If you are 2wd then I would suggest a spindle lift. Economical and looks bad ass

Yea each person is different so one lift may not be good for someone else. You could always just turn the prerunner into a 4x4 and save your self some money ;)

Thats something Chad will need to answer. I dont think you do because its not changing the length of the shocks. Its like a spacer lift not changing the how the shock and coil move just adding space from the top hat.

With spindles you dont need UCA's because the spindle just moves the hub assembly down. Doesn't messwith anything else

Read a post on someone that had their sister do a spindle lift on her '02 or '12 Tacoma with stock wheels and bigger tires with wheel spacers and her alignment was fucked up and couldn't get anywhere near close to factory specs. I have stock tforce wheels and bigger tires with wheels spacers so I rather not go that route. I'll just stick with my block spacers and be able to align my truck.

I'd love to do that but honestly I never have time to off road or venture out onto deep trails or camping or anything really. That's why I decided on the rwd cuz it would get he job done on driving to and from work on the daily. I rather have this till it's paid off and for looks then after get me a 4x4.

So after two hours (30 min at lunch and 1 1/2 at home) I finally got these btchs on. Took patience and some beer but I got it. And a nice yellow color I was going for Fog bulb tabs didn't want to fit in the slots to turn and lock so I had to play around with bending the tabs and wiggling. Got two of them in except one and was frustrating so decided to bang one side in then turn it to lock with the pliers. Broke the plastic cover off the back of the bulb that covers the connectors but nothing some electrics tape couldn't fix. Satisfied with how them came out Now for some night driving to the bar and night shots.

Spindles keep the factory geometry of the suspension. Not need to change the UCA.
    Exactly
I have the stock SR5 Texas Edition wheels and they did not require a spacer or any modification to run with the spindles.

    Just a thought

EDIT: and I can honestly say that after a good alignment it drives better than it always had.

Did you run bigger and wider tires that the stock ones? That's the only reason I run wheel spacers so that I don't rub on my UCA's. I'm sure that why that happen to the girls truck and I'm sure that will happen to mine if a I did a spindle lift. And I don't know much of lifts and the geometry of factory specs or ride. I just know with the stock wheels and bigger tires I rub. Idk if new spindles would clear my rubbing issues or not.

This is straight from @HeadStrong Off-Road site for maxtrac 4'' spindles:

NOTE: Spindles increase track width by 0.75" per side.

    Wheel and Tire Fitment:
17" wheel minimum with a 4.75" backspacing or less
Will clear up to 33" tire with proper wheel and tire selection.
Some trimming may be needed in order to clear
