I'll get you some pics of the setup after work and post them up.
In the meantime I have the Gran Sabana and it is huge! Hangs off the front of the Bajarack and off the back as well. I think 4-6" on both ends is safe to say. Before ordering the tent I spoke to the guys at Tepui and the guys at Bajarack and they both said it would be fine for both pieces of equipment.
I have a couple of tent cots as well and really love them. My kids are a little young at 5 and 12 so its not super tight for all three of us, but definitely not fun. The RTT give us tons of room to spread out and at the end of the night to play cards or whatever "in doors" which they really seem to love.

Good point. I think the new noise of the wind is making me think its going to be a huge difference but it sounds like it will be minimal.

Yes, for now. I plan to re-do it with 1/8" aluminum.
    Just fine. :)

Quick run outside to get these pics, it will likely be dark when I get outta here. I hope this helpsIMG_2925.jpg IMG_2923.jpg IMG_2924.jpg , and let me know if you would like to see any other angles.

Also as a side note, with the tent this far forward if covers the shark fin antenna a bit so if you have satellite radio it interferes depending on which direction you're driving.

100% agree. The original post was saying that only small foot print bed bars will do it. Really the only bad thing about bed bars is the possibility of crushing the bed side. But if it's spread out (larger foot) then you should be fine. Are beds just aren't the greatest lol.

Biggest problem with bed bars isn't crushing the bedside, its all the lateral force at the tailgate that starts pushing the bed out. TC just released those bedside gussets that will actually help prevent this. Ill be ordering some shortly to help support the bed a bit more!

My friend here disagrees. I have the same mounts, would take all of 1 minute to chop off the excess and just leave it attached to whatever the bed gussets dont use

    Th
the bed gussets use the aft most mounting hole... you would be cutting the CB mount in half... basically cutting the part that protrudes past the tailgate and making it seperate from the bolt holes if you look at the picture on total chaos's site... rendering the CB mount useless
