Need some trouble shooting help. Have fxr retrofits on my 2009 Tacoma. They have worked flawlessly up until last week. Last week the drivers side head light flickered and then wouldn't come on. On my 10 min drive home it ended up coming on by the time I got home. This happened for two days. Then the driver side headlight stopped working completely. The turn signal and parking light are working correctly.

I started trouble shooting tonight thinking it may be the ballast. I switched the ballast with the passenger side ballast and it still didn't work.

When I went back to switch everything back to the original way it was, now both headlights aren't working!!!! FML!!!!

All turn signals and running lights are working just not the headlights.

Could it be the relay control? All parts are morimoto.

When I turn the headlights on I still hear the relay clicking.

I'm stumped as what it could be.

Any help would be greatly welcomed!!!!

I know have no headlights to drive at night as my stock set is being stored at the cabin in Tahoe.

Ugghhhh...rushed out of work today so I could drive home before it got dark. Decided to turn on the heights to see if they work when I got home.
Now the driver side is working but not the passenger side....FML!!!!!! More trouble shooting tonight I guess....

you have the h4 conversion harness? at the connector that plugs into the ballast check if you are getting power should be 12volts there might be a bad ground

Yes, I have the h4 morimotot harness. I don't have a volt meter here. I disconnected everything last night and switched swapped the ballasts to the opposite sides. Now my driver side works fine and not my passenger side. I think its a bad ballast.

but you said you swapped the ballast from driver to passenger and it still didnt work so it cant be a bad ballast theoretically but if you have a 12v source and good ground the ballast or bulb is the only thing it can be

I need to get a volt meter but its in Sacramento right now. I know its not the bulb.

I've been looking on his planet to see if I can find a cheap morimoto ballast.
