I have numerous flashlights ranging from 100 Lumens up to 1000 Lumens, in many different brands. My favorites are Fenix FD40, Fenix PD35TAC and Govolt G5.
Currently I keep my 600 Lumens GoVolt G5 in my 3rd Gen.

What is your flashlight of choice that you keep in your 3rd Gen ? And show pics if you have them, like where you keep them or have them mounted please. That way we can show everyone what options they have.

And... I'd like to see where folks keep them and how they have them mounted.

I have an old one of these I keep in the center console:
[Edit: I see this has a tested value of 25 lumens, which is probably about right. There are far brighter flashlights available. I bought this one when LED flashlights were still a bit of a novelty. Still, it's well designed and tough.]
    https://www.amazon.com/Pelican-StealthLite-2400-Flashlight-Yellow/dp/B000P1HVA6/ref=sr_1_6?s=hardware&ie=UTF8&qid=1475952535&sr=1-6&keywords=pelican+flashlight&th=1

I have one of these in the back in a crate with my other random truck stuff:

    https://www.amazon.com/Duracell-Dur...00O70XP24/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I have a few of these, in various generic brands, around the truck for the kids:
    https://www.amazon.com/Hausbell-Ult...qid=1475952662&sr=8-3&keywords=led+flashlight

And a couple head lamps, also in the center console. Various models bought when they go on sale at Amazon.

I'd like to have a small and powerful light and a way to mount it in the cab for easy access.

    K really,
I have an Olight M1X striker that's my EDC always with me.
I have a Nitecore (forget which model but USB rechargable) that will likely be left in the truck once I get it.

Really like the Olights. I've had a few different Nitecores, they're nice but I prefer Olight.
    I also have a small Olight S2 baton https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B017R6282W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
might actually keep that in the truck instead since its got a magnetic base which would come in handing if working under the hood or something, can just stick it to the truck.

M1X striker. Highly recommend it. Great EDC light, battery life is surprisingly great.

Streamlight, Nitecore, Olight, Fenix, Govolt, Klarus all listed thus far and are good choices, keep em coming.

As previously asked, if you can get a pic to show others where you store it or how you have yours mounted, I`m sure it will be appreciated by many.

I added another one to the family today.
600 Lumens, nice little pocket light at only 4.7 inches.

I got a three pack from costco. Tech lite 200 works good enough. I have a question about rechargeables how long will the batteries hold a charge if not in use often?

I literally just spent the last 45 minutes looking at flashlights, and finally realized I have about 15 of them (mainly olights) and I don't really need another one.

I'm picking up my 3rd gen Wednesday, and my fenix pd35 will be in the center console unless it's in my day bag.

Another fenix fanboy here, pd35 in truck and on my hip. High quality panasonic 18650s with a good multistage charger. And a fenix LD02 single aaa for ultralight camping. I can clip it to my hat visor, it is just as bright and saves quite a bit of weight over my 3x aaa petzl. I've seen a few offerings above in "c" cell batteries. Guys, The 70's called and wants their batteries back. Half price. When I see a light offered with c cells I pass and you should too.
