Looking to see if anyone has the part numbers for black emblems/badges for 3rd Gen Tacomas. I noticed that the door panel "Tacoma" is different than the 2nd Gen, hence my hesitation not to order the old pro badges that are sold on ebay. I have also looked into the Nox-Lux overlay kit and ordered it but it seems kind of cheap, and I don't want to plasti dip since I'll have to touch it up periodically. Hoping someone on here knew or can find out if there is a part number or if these are even available from Toyota?

I think the new Pros have a different badge on them that don't look like the black older Pro badges. May be better off to mark with masking tape where your current badges are, take them off, paint them, and put them back up there with a thin double sided adhesive.

Are these what you're thinking about? http://mobile.accessories.setbuyatoyota.com/details/Tacoma/2016/2789/Options/JB3300/85315

    Southeast Toyota part # 00016-35072

They're overlays/shells that stick onto/over the existing emblems, not replacement emblems where you remove the old and apply the new. I've seen them and they looked okay, but I didn't examine them closely. I don't own a set so can't offer anything more.

There's also a third party company offering something similar I believe.

Holy shite! $300 for port installed vinyl/plastic overlays?! Have they lost their mind?

I got my complete set of 2nd gen black metal OEM badges for less than $130.

    That's SouthEast Toyota for you.

Sort of like that dual-USB port for the rear of the center console. It's $119 MSRP as a port installed option, $64.90 invoice. The part itself is readily obtained at $42 if you wish to self-install.

I got a set of the overlays for $100 bucks but am not impressed with them. Looking for an actual replacement in black that won't wear off or away. $300!!!! That's absolutely crazy. The 2017 TRD Pro has a black colored 4x4 and TRD PRO emblem on the tailgate according to pics I've seen online of the truck. Doesn't look like it has a door badge other than that big ugly one by the BSM

well shit I just ordered those stupid nonlux ones or whatever there called. I'll let you know what I think of them. On my 2nd gen I had black OEM badges so standards are high.

Yeah I've had those Nox Lux overlays just sitting in the box in my garage cause they definitely don't look like they're worth the $100 I spent on them
