Hi Zach, I placed an order for a cab rack a few weeks back and have a similar question regarding the shark fin on the 2015 DCSB. Seems Toyota changed them to a taller fin in the last few years. Useless to me as I'll never use XM radio.
In some threads it appears to hit the crossbar and folks either turn them sideways or notch them out. Others suggest getting the single wide bar.
Do you still offer the single wide crossbars?
I too would like the last bar to be at the back for loading stuff.
BTW Looking forward to getting mine!

Ok, not counting my fin, I measured in at 6'1.5" at the highest point on the roof. I have 6'6" of clearance and my work garage, but I need to eventually upgrade my front coils to 700# :anonymous:

    I think it'll work lol

I'm looking to order mine next week, I just have one question and I apologize if it's covered somewhere in the previous 5k posts. Is the rack compatible with sunroofs on the 3rd gens? Thanks.

Bought it! Absolutely love it. Had to do some touch-up painting, but still looks good. Hardly any wind resistance compared to my Yakima/Thule setup I had. Adding a Plano this weekend!

If he doesn't have any single wides left I have a few spares sitting in my garage. Let me know once you have an opportunity to mount your rack if you need one and we can talk.

Does the light bar mount to the closet crossbar to the wind deflector? If so, which mounting brackets do we use?

Has anybody ran into the splotchy white marks? I assume hard water spots but its more pronounced where my wiper over spray is. Can't for the life of me get them to come off with normal cleaning/scrubbing.

Unfortunately the one I have is the clear ano/raw aluminum version that shipped out when the racks were first introduced. Can't help you on the anodized black single wide, though perhaps Zach can.

While I have yet to mount a light bar, there are several options available, depending on the application and light bar mounting requirements. If the light bar bracket is long enough it may reach back to the first cross bar. If not, then the first cross bar can be moved forward or a separate cross bar mounted just forward of the first cross bar.

The beauty of the Prinsu system is the options are endless.

sorry but question about this question...

planning or ordering this rack soon for my 16.
why is the single wide cross bar needed? is it so u can put a crossbar in the most rear location on the rack and not interfere with the shark fin antenna?

and if so are u guys saying that he's not making the single wide cross bars anymore?

Yes that's what they are saying. Shark fin won't allow the bars that ship with the rack to fit in the last spot behind the fin. A single wide fits back there.

As an alternative to the single wides someone on TW installed a round Yakima cross bar with a little modification. Looked good. I'll see if I can find the post.
