Got some asphalt sealant on my truck while driving. Wiped it off with goo gone and now I have green spots and will not come off. Any clue what is going on? Guess going back to dealer.

WD40 might work. It's actually a moderately strong solvent. Safe to use on clear but I'm always sure to thoroughly wash when I'm done doing the job at hand.

I think "goo gone" is the one you do NOT want to use on paint. "Goof off" is the one to use. I might have that backwards. Hard to remember that one.

There's also this: And this: 3M also makes a good adhesive remover that is cc safe.

yes they use some junk called "tack" between the joints on repaving projects and it gets spilled onto the new pavement then run over by motorists, its just liquid tar

Tarminator. 5$ local parts store, and make sure you wash the area after removal and apply a wax or sealant after as it will strip any protection you have on there now.

I'd start off w/ a paint cleaner. I wouldn't expect a clay bar to remove that. Clay is for anything sitting on top of the surface. The paint cleaner or a mild polish would be my first choice.
