Pretty cool! I took some flying lessons back in high school wish I could have kept doing it!

 

It's such a great freedom to have. You should go back and finish it up!

 

Money man. No way with both me and my sister going to college. And I sure don't have enough. Also the instructor wasnt that great. He would just tell be to do things without giving any instructions how. Like he expected me to know how to do certain things lol. Think I was the first person he had every tried to teach before. And like I don't think I could afford a plane or a place to keep it either lol.

Hopefully one day I will. How much is a plane like yours anyhow?

 

Let's just say that you could buy a brand new Lexus and spend more than we did on our plane. Maintenance however, is a different story.

I tried a different approach to editing the second one, you guys old enough to have kids probably won't like it I'm trying to find ways to keep non-pilots focused on what is otherwise boring flying footage.

Flying looks so fun, great footage. Cool going through all the clouds.

 

how do you remember all the stuff to say lol. And how do you remebee everything they said? its so fast lol

 

It's a blast! Popping in and out of the clouds is so much fun. That 5 minute video took me 5 hours to edit

 

It comes with experience. You learn to expect what they are going to tell you. For the record, the clearance he read me in the first video was way too fast. I just happened to know what he was going to give me. If I didn't know what to expect, I would have had to ask him to repeat it slower.

 

ah i see. I remeber when I first flew i wanted to say, what? like every sentence. the instructor was just rambling stuff off to me as well that i had to have him repeat lol.

 

I did all my training in Dallas. The radio was a huge hurtle at first, but now it seems like everyone talks soooo slowly everywhere else I've been. Especially up here in Arkansas. It's not uncommon to go 10-15 minutes without hearing another plane on the app/dep frequency.

 

I know numbers and letters too ya know. video looks good man!

Some things are coming

 

I made it back to school in an hour in a half and made all my friends doing the 5 hour drive jealous! 205mph over the ground thanks to a 40mph tailwind I can't complain.
