    hello all!
i am new to the forum and have a few questions. recently i purchased a 2000 5 lug and along with it a fabtech 3 inch spindle and 2 inch shackle lift. i went with the billy hd struts in the front along with new moog replacement springs and all new ball joints and tie rod ends. i started to get the matching hd rear shocks and realized they werent going to give me the right amount of travel. i was wondering if anyone could help me with what shocks to get for the rear? thank you for your input!!!

How much lift in the rear? 5100s should work

it will be a 2 inch shackle in the rear on a base model 2000 5 lug. i originally ordered the bilstein 4600 hds but found that they are stock replacements and i need two additional inches of travel putting me at 8 inches of travel overall. the 5125 billy that i think is going to work is a 33-185590. it will sit at 17 inches at level ride height. i just hope the eyelet size wont be an issue. and thanks man ive got some simple but effective plans for this truck. its a daily but i want a little more truck feel from this little pickup

ive always heard the 5100 wont work. then again i hear it will. honestly this is the only thing holding the lift up. the 5125 set i found is part number 33-185590 but i cant confirm for sure if these will work. the eyelets are smaller on these than the stock replacements so i truly am lost at this point.

I couldn't count how many tacomas on here are running 5100s.
