Back on topic, was no 3.4 option available as part of the GB? Didn't see an update to the OP and saw someone looking for one.

Will installing the supercharger with the bully dog tuner void your toyota warranty? I heard messing with the ecu will automatically void your warranty ... ???

@jberry813 Pennies add up to dollars.

    Back on topic...

Here is a short list of items I'm gathering in preparation for the install.

    Injector insulators 23291-23010
    Coolant pipe outlet o-ring 96761-35031
    Thermostat outlet o-ring 16326-31020
    Coolant 00272-SLLC2
    Throttle body gasket 22271-0P010
    Plenum gasket 17176-0P030
    Oil filter 90915-YZZD3
Spare clips for the bumper cover 52161-16010

The clips are a few dollars each from the dealer but there are eBay auctions for a set of 15 for less than $5.

    I've heard yes and no.
Technically Toyota would have to prove that the supercharger caused the problem.

If you are worried about the warranty take it to a shop that is ASE certified so you get the Mag warranty.

Just don't tell them that you have a supercharger. I bet there's a 50/50 chance or greater they don't even realize it unless you say something lol.

The Toyota dealership that sold me my '04 in March didn't even realize the truck they were selling me was supercharged. I didn't realize it until I got there and popped the hood, the salesman had no idea.

Is there anything else needed? I'd like to order all additional parts soon. Thanks for the list.

The install recommends changing engine oil/filter and fuel filter.

Just wasnt 100% sure. Maybe just buy them as a extra precaution. I've only briefly looked through the 72 page installation instructions. My truck only has 38000 miles. So I don't see a problem reusing certain things.

I'm not 100% sure. The install manual is a little vague referring to 2 o-rings behind the thermostat water manifold. I only found one o-ring in the parts catalogs I looked at. The kit does include some things but if you read the manual, it talks about inspecting the throttle body gasket and plenum gasket. I'm just going to replace them. I don't like re-using gaskets and o-rings if it can be avoided. I only plan on doing the job once.

Yea i may just buy them in case. And probably no harm in replacing if I have it apart. What's another few bucks.

It's really not that complicated but I can totally understand why you would want to.

Trying not to over analyze it. I feel pretty confident in doing it myself. Just want to be prepared.
