2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB

July of 2015, The Day I bought her From Toyota of Escondido, Couldn't be anymore stoked!

I had 2 Subarus prior to purchasing the taco. It was a sad day selling the subies, but the truck is so much more practical for my lifestyle.. although i will probably end up buying another subie as a project car.

A couple weeks into owning the Taco I bought a set of 17" Method NVs wrapped in 285/75/17 BFG AT's. I had also put on the ProComp 3in leveling kit in the front. I had left to Hawaii right after i bought the stuff but my buddy took care of everything while i was gone! A nice change to come home to!

Really stoked on how it turned out. I then purchased 2 sets of SpiderTrax 1.25 Spacers for the front and rear to give it a more aggressive look. No issues rubbing either. I don't hit cab mount...only just a few pieces of fender liner that i trimmed in a second. Rear is currently stock.

Next on the list was a camper shell, Definitely a must have when i constantly have surfboards etc in the bed of my truck. Makes it so much easier to go to work straight from the beach and not having to worry about boards getting stolen lol!

I got my Snugtop Rebel from American Camper Shells off Beach Blvd in Stanton. The customer service there was GREAT! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a shell on their truck. They had the exact shell i wanted fully loaded and painted and ready to go. They fit me in the next morning after i called and installed it for no extra cost.

I added a little turf to the bed to make it easy on my surfboards with sand and
    everything lol.

I added a 32" Light bar behind the lower grill, went up into the hills and snagged a couple shots.

Took the rig down to San Onofre in San Clemente for a bbq and longboard day with a few friends.

After a good rain, Since it hardly ever rains in Orange County...a few buddies and myself went out for a night tear in Holy Jim Canyon haha!

Left the truck like that for a while and just started adding a few things on it this month. I came across a good deal on some Fox 2.0 Coilovers and for now it was a good investment. Ive been meaning to ditch the leveling kit for something that could actually handle a little offloading. The Fox 2.0s work perfect for me since I'm not at the one to fully romp in the dirt, i mostly do street driving. But huge upgrade from the spacer lift. (lighting looks weird from LED in shell)

    IMG_1100.jpg IMG_1101.jpg IMG_1103.jpg

Once i put those coils on it was a night and day difference from the leveling kit. Everything felt so smooth and comfortable. Very happy i pulled the trigger on those. The lift is set to about 2 inches in the front so i started to rub a bit more. I would also max out my stock upper control arm when i hit bigger speed bumps at a faster speed so i picked up a set of Total Chaos unibal Upper Control Arms.

The ride just kept getting better and better. Super stoked the way this setup turned out and how good it suits my everyday driving. Next up was an alignment, so i bought lifetime Alignments from Ramona Tire off La Paz. Once they dialed the alignment i was rubbing really bad on my cab mount. It was pretty hectic i could hardly even turn the wheel. I needed to get it chopped ASAP so i called Demello Offload, Castle Fab, Rebel Offload and a few other Fab Shops. Everyone was booked for months out unfortunately.... Although Tim from DMZ fab in Norco called me back right after i left a message and said he could fit me in the next morning for the Cab Mount Chop. I was beyond grateful. I went there the next morning and he took care of everything. He is such a nice person and went above and beyond on customer service. The work he did was insane. Defiantly the best that could have been done. I was more than happy and will definitely be returning to Tim for any other needs to be done on my truck.
Heres some shots after the Cab chop.

Im all clear now and haven't had any rubbing issues since. Thank God... haha

I got some GG Lighting Pods from the Offroad Expo and a Cobra 38wxst CB radio paired with the Wilson Little Wil CB Antennae.

Awesome meeting you at the TW meet!

Truck looks even better in person! Can't wait to get some nice suspension and tires like yours before the next trip out. Cheers:burnrubber:

Finally got around to snapping a photo or 2. Got my new Rotiform SIX OR wheels mounted a couple weeks back and really stoked on how it looks. Also have a new front tube bumper ;)
