Well, from what i have read on here, i believe that i got a bad cv joint. When i back up with the wheel turned all the way to the right. I get a like popping noise, thats the only direction it does it.

Whats a good cv to replace it with?

It should be covered under warranty (2 1/2 years old 27,000 miles) but i have a 3 inch lift on it so i figure they will try and tell me that caused it. And it may have. I dunno

Think it should be covered under warranty, even with lift?

I've taken my truck for a leaky diff with all my armor, lifted and 33s. It was still covered under warranty, it all depends on what dealer you go to.

doubtful, most mods void warranties. Your Cv angle might be off causing premature wear on your cv.

Are you sure it's the CV? Popping while turning could be your ball joints, or wheel bearings?

I'm mostly curious because I also have a popping while turning, replacing the LBJ's didn't solve the issue so I'm wondering how you narrowed it down to the CV's so I can maybe narrow mine down as well.

Well took it to the dealer today and they checked everything, and there was nothing bad. He said the brake pads were rattling around, so he put some grease in between the caliper and pad to stop the clunk. Also said that there was a dust shield that was bent in a but and possibly hitting something. Drove it after he got done and the noise was gone. Hopefully this solved it.
