278,000. Both Cats went out but I just blame the govt for the stupid regulation. One is still out but it runs fine. Just change the oil religiously.

676k.....amazing. ....im at 411k...bummer about ball joints. I replaced mine based on posts in this form. Drove on V8 squeaking ball joints for years but you folks and the posts convinced me its a Achilles heal of the Tacoma n the frame. Love this site!
Shes still tight....does 110mph and still lights up the Michelins....amazing!

I'm happy that I bought this truck. I bought my '99 base in '06 with about 70k on it and now it has 215k+. See all these high mileages makes me optimistic for the future. I don't think I've had to do anything major - only replaced alternator and starter besides oil, tires, plugs, brakes, etc. I did replace the rotors, but that was from my laziness prior to that... I think I need to replace the shocks soon though.

Well you know the first minute or so the engine get the most amount of WEAR as it warms up and oil
pressure is restored, my engine kicked at 485,000, most of these 3.4 engines kick
around 450-500,000 With a head gasket issue, so look forward to that with a new motor with that many miles, not worth fixing the head gasket, if you have a 3.4
