I heard a squirrel rustling around yesterday evening and I thought man that thing is loud...and I actually see a squirrel...and right behind I caught a glimpse of antler, I went to move to position my rifle and 3 deer take off down the hill snorting...I really couldnt see much of them through the brush but oh well.

Waterfowl season is on! Here are a few from opening weekend. Couple firsts as well. First blue-wing teal I have shot in this river system, and my first Mexican Duck. Shot lots of bwt elsewhere, but rarely see them way up here. We should have had another goose, but that's how hunting goes...

Oh yeah, forgive my buddy's Ford. He has the dog, so he drives when we go together.

Great looking fish.... what did you catch it on? Thinking of taking my brother up to Red Lake within these next couple of weeks. Did you just take one of those side roads off of HWY 88 to head down to the lake?
