Thanks jimmy! I'm curious to know if a d2 3.0 to 4.0 swap is even worth it? From what I see above they look pretty identical.

Do you have the original XA halos? Are they the two wires or three wires going into the halos? Let us know and I'll see what's going on! Sorry man, we're currently getting over 200 emails [/QUOTE]

Pretty sure they are XA halos. There is 2 wires coming out of the halo.

After the originals went bad, I ordered some x change drivers and then you guys sent me drivers that have a 3in/2out. They worked but now I'm told there not meant for my halos. One of those went bad, and every since I have received 5-7 drivers and none of them work with the xchange drivers. Some of them don't even turn the halo on.

That's a good question. To me, I would do it. Width is better as well as high beam. Here is a video Lightwerkz did comparing the two!

I've got a question, does the Morimoto rgb demon eyes fit the Acme H1 projectors?

The same shit everyone else has.
When will the Morimoto Mini D2S Stage III kits be back in stock?

Went to order one tonight and got this message - "OUT OF STOCK! All or part of this item is current sold out. "

Definitely wouldn't ask the dealership anything since it's something they don't know much about (HID bulbs).

That's not moisture at all. Just the halide salts.

I recommend swapping components to find what the issue is and we'll get it taken care of for you.

There were two versions of the amber only halos. How many wires coming out on the original drivers? 2 on each side? 2 on one side, 3 on other? Always recommend taking a picture when emailing about specific parts.

Oh trust me I sent alot of pictures. A full write up on how everything is weird and voltage measurements. Anyway it was concluded that my halos were never designed to work with the xchange drivers. But I did get then to work but it was not set up correctly and the voltage readings were not what they were suppose to be. I'm guessing my setup would have been detrimental to the halos at some point. At all a very weird and complicated situation as even the original driver model that came with the halos won't turn them on now.

Anyway TRS has gotten me taken care of.

Just ordered the H11B 4500K bulbs to replace my 5500K that burnt out on my 4runner. Can anybody verify that I got the correct bulb? Thanks!

Thanks! Can't wait to get a slightly less blue bulb in there and stop driving around with one headlight.

    Cool. Thanks.

I think I got everything figured out so far but I still have at least 1 question...

I want to do amber back lit shrouds, but Im not really interested in the switchbacks or the RGB color change halos. Im just looking for amber 110mm LED halos. Can I run the set up like this? Or will the amber backlight affect the output of the HIDs? Do the halos need to turn off when the headlights come on?

4500k with a 35W ballast is my favorite choice and I have had a few setups.

Just wanted to give props to the crew at TRS!

I leave my house at 6 every morning and get back around 8:30. I do 95% of my driving in the dark. When I noticed one of my headlights blew, I was worried since I need them for my commute. I've been driving with just my driver's side headlight for a week now and still have a better beam and light than half the cars out there!

Can't wait to get the new bulbs.
