So a bit of an update..........

    Got it here...

    Got these off...
Decided to check clearance of the tires.........Might need to pound in some areas......
    Also found this......
    Got the new springs on....

Also had another member drop off their trailer with me so I can change up a couple things and make the fenders a bit more functional.....ignore the ladder..

They be blue....o_O:facepalm:......didn't feel like paying for the extra and the added wait time for the black ones. Tophat got shipped after a 5 minute call to ICON and showed up today actually.....

Love the truck man! I'm in Albuquerque a couple of times a year, so I'd love to meet up with you sometime when I'm there and check out your rig! Hopefully all of your repairs are going smoothly to get it back on the road again.

I was browsing the Iggy Switch Panel GB thread looking for how people are cutting up the dash behind the panel to feed the wires in. I saw your post here that shows the hole you cut. I am wondering how much more is able to be cut out? I know there's some stuff behind it but I am not sure the exact layout of everything because I can't quite get my hands back there to feel around. I don't exactly want to start cutting it up and then cut into something more important.

Thanks. Come on by and we can talk about it. there is not a ton back behind that console. There is a few wires and a computer. But it is easy to get around and make it work.

Finally the snorkle came in and got it mounted. Fitment is pretty good overall and it went together nicely.

Sooo, thanks for the offer to bring a set of tires to RT17 for me. Do you have connections to a tire shop, or just being a super helpful TW guy?

I have a couple of guys here that I can get a hookup with but I also have some extra rims that I need to offload that I could get some tires mounted up to and bring them up. The long bed will be empty since i'll be bringing up the trailer.

I have a set of the 6 spoke 4 Runner wheels just sitting collecting dust. I was thinking of using them and painting them a desert tan color and sticking some KO2's on. But then life punched me in the face and made me broke for a bit. So back to sitting they went.

Re arranged some stuff in the OP. Also collected all the parts to start on the dual electric fans this weekend.

Make a hugely detailed post about the fans as I want to do the same this winter.

That is the plan. I'm hoping to pick up a spare radiator tomorrow to use to make the shroud template. Ideally I want to put together a kit for some of the guys on here. I'm hoping that the family will give me a little bit of time to get it knocked out in just one weekend. The current plan is for one on a switch and one hooked to the thermostat to match the regular mechanical fan. The other for when I'm towing and need the bit of extra airflow.

These are what I got, since I didn't find them elsewhere in my build.

Nice, I'm also concerned about towing but also am getting ready to weather seal the cabin and add a snorkel and I want to be able to disable the fans for any deep crossings that I would be forced into dealing with, i.e.: there is no way around them.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but I might pm you in a few months to see if they're still collecting dust. A year in advance seems a little early to be having this chat, but I do appreciate it.

In your 6 gang overhead switch panel, did you have issues with clearance for wiring ? I have the same switches collecting dust but I hear I might have some trouble with mounting depth. Not thinking about it, I went ahead and wired it using the connectors OTRATTW sells for the back of the switches :(

Yeah. I'm in the same boat with sealing the cab and having the snorkel. What I planned is having 2 switches, one controlling a single fan on or off, the 2nd being able to cut off the full system to prevent the fan from starting right before going into the water.
