20 minutes to go. Then I'm done till Sunday night.

 

2hr 20min till i'm free. then I'm helping a friend move some stuff for a couple hours at 0800

 

leaving now. see you guys monday

 

Its always nice when my machine mysteriously breaks down the last 2 hrs left.

 

Half hour left and the mopes are back at it early.

 

I live for the day MD becomes a shall issue state so I can get one of those

My last day on this wacked out 3-11 shift.

Back to nights next wk .

 

And so begins my 2 months straight of night shift. Wonderful OT, horrible turnaround.

 

Department made the news for the 3rd time in 3 days; not good for public perception. Gonna be a long night.

 

I see your department and I raise you, our ship got in to the Navy Times as "the drunkest boat in the Navy" with 72 ARI's in one weekend. (Alcohol related incidents)

 

All 3 stories involve children and sex offenders; these people should NOT be allowed out of jail but pressure from the libs to "rehabilitate" sways the judges.

 

Ugh. F that noise. Theres just some shit that needs to be treated like the 1800s still.

 

Nights are usually way more chill than days though so at least there's that.

 

Sergeant always told us nothin good happens after midnight.

 

At my job I'm usually in bed before midnight

 

Yeah nights are usually chill, except during overhauls when all the shit days fucked up gets turned over to nights to fix

 

night are super chill here.

not to say days and afternoons arent though

 

At least the big wigs are gone by then though, it's not that shit doesn't go down it's just that you are more free to make decisions and get the job done.
