Enjoy, I got one a few months ago, finally heading to the mountains next week, for an entire week on the river.

Ive had an Old Town 16' for 20 years. It's never let me down. We engineered some outriggers for it this year. They allowed us to stand up in the middle of the lake, with no danger of overturning.

Canoes and kayaks are very versatile and will allow you to fish where few boats will go. Not to mention budget friendly.

I love to fish, but my boating (Boston Whaler) days are over. If I can't get to them in a kayak I don't need to chase them.

Well, other than an occasional charter, rental or as a guest on someone elses boat. :D
