New member here. Just purchased a 17 DCSB Off Road in Quicksand. Now starting to look for a good bed cover that won't freeze up in our southern Ontario winter climate. Probably a trifold cover, I am guessing. Pricing in Canada is always worse than USA, especially for OEM cover ($1,443.60 on Toyota.ca). Anyone recommend anything based on recent experience? I did search the forums and see a lot of conflicting opinions on the various brands.

I did have an Under Cover Flex on a previous F150. Was not bad - but the way they attached the cross pieces underneath the cover (that held the release wire and latch system), were kind of Mickey Mouse.

Hey Auroraboy, welcome to the family!
I had a Bakflip tonneau hard cover installed when I bought my taco last year.
No complaints, very durable and the feature I like most about it is you can flip it back and have 100% access to the bed. It has support arms you put in place to hold the cover up flat against the rear window, or, you can "Bakflip" half the bed or one section only if needed.
I'm just east of Ottawa and purchased mine for $899. Thought, can't go wrong for that price.
Holds up well in the cold and snow, you can break ice buildup and brush away snow with no concerns.
Think it holds up to something like 250 lbs, so makes a good seat too.
    Hope this helps.

Undercover SE, one piece solid hard plastic, site shows 6-7 people standing on one, sold me. I got the basic black se, textured, so any scratches would be hard to see.
I do plan on loading atop it, and standing on it while hunting, maybe a chair.

Did you buy on line? $899 seems cheap for a BakFlip. The different models all seem to range from $1,100 to $1,300 give or take on parts engine.ca

No, I bought it at a place called Derand in Ottawa, and they installed it. It was on special, think regular price is about $1000.
