    I didn't drill a hole , the wire is just coming in at the top between the water guard and the door frame

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    Finally brought my truck to the 21st century with a new head unit. Also fixed a couple other things like a flickering LED in the AC panel, as well as fixing the switch to my to lights I have mounted on the tool box. Now those lights can be controlled by the switch inside the cab or the switch inside the tool box.

    You could try running it down to where your door’s power wires go into the chassis.

    How hard was the head unit install? From what I've seen it seems pretty plug and play.

    If your planning on welding something you need a grinder to prep the surface. Wire brush isn't going to cut it.
