Sometimes the Sandisk sales aren't that great, as Best Buy's sale price is usually Amazon's regular price. I just picked up two 32GB Ultrafits for about $20 at BB though.

BB has a PNY 256GB 3.0 for $50. I've had a PNY 128GB in my truck for about 2 years now with no issues.

Something cheap since it is just going to sit in the truck. That samsung is cool.

That's what I got as well, the PNY 128gb. Works great and I've never had issues with it either. I got it at BB for $30 on sale last year.

    That would make sense.

Yeah, I like the size and speed. I wanted something I can transfer things fast like video and I like that it is USB OTG compatible

I use the one that came with my S7 and it works good. Never thought about hooking it up to my tablet and using it for my DSLR. good idea.

So one thing I hate about most new HU's is that if you use a flash drive a lot of them will not sort the folders in any order. I found a neat program called FAT Sorter and it will re-order everything on the FAT32 drive. Plug it into the HU, all alphabetical order now!

Been using a tool called fatsort on Linux for my flash drive. It's not just head units. Almost all devices barely support flash drives in favor of apple devices or bluetooth.

So far my Pioneer HU is the only device that doesn't sort Fat32 for me. My older Pioneer HU that's in my Civic would sort them or not break my file system. It's a quick fix.

Does your Pioneer cut off the beginning of each track? My P4100 would cut off maybe the first second of each track. My JVC HU doesn't sort fat32 for me, neither did my Philips DVD player, nor my Yamaha reciever. I've had other devices do the same.

The new one I have doesn't do that. I don't recall the old one doing that as well but it's been awhile since I've turned on that HU.

Good to know when it comes time to replace my HU. The JVC sounds alright, but the Pioneer sounded better.

I'm a fan of Pioneer and Alpine. But I hate Alpine's interface. I haven't touched a JVC in ages but their high end ones were really good back in the day. I have to figure most higher end HU's put out about the same amount of power/clarity.

I still have my KD-SHX850. That radio over a decade ago retailed for more than most DVD recievers do now. (Found it on ebay new for far cheaper though). Maybe I could use it as an EQ for the current HU.

I'd use that. It has 5v outputs.

This is what I do when I travel so I can only take my tablet with me or If you get into night time photography its easier to see if the camera is focused on the tablet screen.
