I looked at both online and on a neighbor's Tacoma and imo the trd pro Sema wheels are of better quality and the finish looks more durable. This is also agreed upon by my neighbor and I.

Do you have to have that silver sticker on the center cap or is that a sticker you can remove

I looked into the FN fX wheels last week: apparently they only make 17x9 now, which is too wide for 265 tires IMO.

So I ended ordering a set of SEMA replicas by OE Wheels: their specs are 17x7 +0mm ; $166/wheel. Here’s the link: https://www.oewheelsllc.com/TY16-17070-matte-black-rims-fit-Toyota-4Runner

They come with black center hubs. I’ll know more when they arrive.

    ...stuff
My vote for FN. I had them on my last truck and they are amazing. Dustin is also a great guy and goes above and beyond with customer service. He is local to me so I drove out to get my last wheel set.

The FN Wheels look the same at first but the more time spend comparing back and forth they start to look different to me.... Or and I going cross eyed over this.

The same as what? The OE SEMA wheels?

Based on what I saw, the FNs are wider and have less offset, which gives them a deeper dish look. They also offer a flat center cap option, in black or silver, which completely changes the look of the wheel IMO.

Discount Tire ordered me a set of “OE Wheels” SEMA replicas that have specs closer to the SEMA: 17x7, raised center hubs, but with +0mm offset.

Eight days later I still have to see them. I think they are coming around the Panama Canal...

I've had the FN Fx pro's in gunmetal for about 28k miles now with 275/70/17. I love the way they fill out the fenders, unlike the SEMA. Pics in my media folder.

@mds08 Are you sure? I looked at both as well and the Sema TRD looked cheap and heavy - made in thailand. Not everything that is OEM is superior. If that was the case, we would all be using Toyota motoroil, Toyota filters, etc. The FX Pros were ultimately my choice in gunmetal. They are also forged and lighter which was a win.
