I actually passed my wife the other day and was about to post in my g8 group until I looked in the mirror and saw the tail lights and plate. Wife got off a tad earlier than usual. I was about to compliment someone on the sound of the car...

Mckinney is doing their best to help out. But pointing out all these issues, theyre bound to say "that was there before". A brand new truck has all sorts of paint issues now. I'm going to end up having to take it to a body shop...if that happens I won't touch that dealer again and when it comes time to upgrade they won't get my business.

I assume you are talking Pat Lobb Toyota? I bought my truck as well from that place and never again. I had problems with my truck and they were terrible to deal with. I'm never going to be doing business with them, so feel free to join the club.

Yes. I'm starting to get pissed. I won't be doing any more business with them. We were talking about trading my car in at some point on a 4 runner or ss sedan. I won't be buying from them!

The only reason I went with them is they gave me the best trade in deal with my GTI. I had some issues with the paint as well on my truck. Took many times speaking with the GM to get it done correctly.

Almost bought my 2016 from there last September. They effectively lied and wasted 5 hours of my life letting my test drive and inquire about a MGM TRDOR AC that apparently was already spoken for then had the audacity to turn around and try and get me into a TRD TSS 4x2 tundra THAT WAS 8k more than the budget I had which was 35k for the truck and it wasn't even 4x4. Needless to say I was livid ended up going to Toyota of Dallas which wasn't much better but got what I wanted except in quicksand color for 36k OTD.

    Yea Toyota dealerships suck.

lol Dallas sucks. We bought our truck there. They sold my truck. After we signed all the papers. Then told me to come back and sign new papers on a new truck with less miles. Same options and color. Then had the nerve to tell me I needed to come by Wednesday before the end of the month, so it counted for his monthly sales goal!

I told them to fuck off. I'll be there Saturday when it's convenient for me. They offered the extended warranty for $1k though.

Spotted the twin of my truck in Dallas, westbound on Beltline just past Coit yesterday.

White 2nd gen, Prinsu roof rack on cab and shell. He had an RTT though. Too quick in passing to get a pic as I was eastbound. Wish I could've seen him parked so I could've complimented his taste! :D

Lone Star's sales/finance departments were great. The service side sucks nuts though. I took mine in for shifting issues and asked about checking the fluid/performing the tsb. They kept it for 4 days without giving me a rental only to tell me there was nothing wrong with it. When the blower motor took a dive at 4200 miles I had them look at the trans again. Guess what, this time it was "less than one quart" low and they performed the TSB. And the advisor got pissed when I asked why I didnt receive that answer the last time I had it in for the same issue.

Too bad, they were pussies for not doing anything the first time you came in and dismissed your concern. Trade mad with him about how a brand new vehicle NEEDS this much attention already. I would cordially invite him to take it up with corporate and shove it.......

They were writing me off as the customer who bitches about shifting during the learn procedure. Instead of realizing i've worked on cars since 04 and know when something feels wrong.

    Saw this guy on 114.

ARB front with lights. I gave an obvious wave, but was completely ignored.
