Sure wish I could fit these with 16" wheels. The one and probably only downfall of 16" wheels.

I was on the fence when I got my wheels. I should have gone with 17"s to begin with. Better tire selection too.

Yeah, if only if only. At this point I have (8) 16" F5s and 8 tires with 85% tread including those on my trailer so going to 17s just to fit the brakes isn't really an option.

With 16" wheels, your only option would be the TRD BBK. You might want to contact them to see if they can supply you with the smaller rotors.

    TRD calipers = Stoptech Calipers

That would just be a standard 4 piston kit correct?

That's correct. It's the same calipers. SOS just pairs them with larger rotors.

Yeah seems like for the hassle and the price though you either go big and get the 6 piston kit here, or just use quality pads and rotors and deal with the 4 pistons.

Your wife would kill you so we can't have that on our hands. Is there anything else left for us to trade?

What extra expense is there maintaining two piece rotors?

When they need replacing you actually only replace the outer piece; however, that's still much more expensive than a typical rotor.

More $ to buy, more $ to replace. Makes sense, but no maintenance per se

Right, but that's kind of an issue of semantics. Maintenance of the braking system includes rotor replacement, which will cost you a lot more in a two piece setup.

It also includes making sure all the tiny bolts that hold the rotor inplace are properly torqued, and my preference to have them wire locked.

If it is a race truck then for sure do it, I would in a heart beat, but for a DD IMO it's too much work and extra expense.

Gotcha. The benefits of a two piece would not be realized for street/ slow offroading either.
