My oil filter is stuck in a Tacoma2004

    No, have found that if one does not run a thin film of oil on the gasket before you install the filter, it welds itself to the engine. Total Bitch to take off if you don't.

    2.7 w/auto, 4WU 3 link, F & R Diamonds, ARB's F/R w/ Yukon 5.29's, Inchworm 4.7 Lefty, Deavers, ARB OBA, Schrockworks up front.
    If he has the 2.7 motor, the filter is in a vertical position.

    OP,
    Which motor do you have, 3.4 or 2.7?

    Try driving it to warm it up first before trying it again with whatever tool was the best fit prior to then.

    Just remember, once you poke a hole in it, there is no turning back.
