Close to Entiat. Entiat River Rd and then all the forest roads that break off from there. WABDR goes though there as well which is what is shown in the last picture.

How was your weather? I stayed pretty dry in republic, had a few squalls but was about 60° the whole time during the day. We moved over to tunk valley where a friend lives and it was nice there too, no rain and a light wind. Missed a nice 3pt whitetail and saw nothing but mulie does.

Found an old junk yard in the okanagon national forest.

I only got rained on at night and I was usually snuggled up in the tent by then. coldest it got was 39 one morning when I woke up. Only grouse I saw was on the paved road where I could shoot lol. People were getting deer out there though. The lucky ones I guess. Most people I saw were truck hunting.

No problem. I don't have anything going on next weekend.
I can do a day trip, but not overnight.

Sounds good. Might see if we can't get enough folks to camp and some for just wheeling.

Not sure where we'd go yet, gonna look into that some this weekend

Apparently Combat Flip Flops is launching their stuff at Mule for their open house this weekend. Griff and Andy of CFF are bad ass guys. Too bad I'm out of town. This open house would be fun.

Went to range 15 today at JBLM and got the skinny, for anyone interested.

Civilians are allowed to shoot there with a military sponsor. HOWEVER, they don't ever enforce the rule, as per 2 of the range officers there. So yes, non-military can and do shoot there all the time, without being a guest of a military person.

And as was previously mentioned, magnum rifles (except .22 mags) are not allowed.

Had a great time shooting. Not many people there, and the two older RO's were great; cracking jokes and telling stories, and giving some shooters pointers here and there.

Good to hear. never been there but been meaning to try it out one of these days.

Its a shame the gig harbor sportsmen club has some shitty rules and prices since they are close to us. I went once and got "in trouble" for putting up to targets on my target stand. I tried to explain I like to do that so I can shoot one rifle and switch to another and have a fresh target without having to call a cease fire. RO was a dick about it and made me walk back down and take one down. Havent been back since

Went to the GHSC once as a guest with a friend and had a similar experience with the RO's. Never went back. I'd rather drive than deal with BS/drama. Plus Range 15 goes out to 300 yards, which I find more enjoyable than 100 (depending on what rifle I'm using, that is). Never had a bad experience there. Highly recommend them.

It's incredibly easy to do with the ECGS tool.

No you don't need an alignment.

Next time it does it put it in 4wd. If it goes away you know it's the culprit.

Why would that even matter? Ha. That's lame.
At one of the ranges in Alaska the RO yelled at me for putting the orange stickers on my target while it was on the table during a cease fire. He said "that's how people get shot"
I didn't know my target could shoot somebody :notsure:

I know at Poulsbo Sportsmen Club (where i go with my dad) they are ok with targets over the whole board but the ask you to not shoot the edges. Mostly cause it destroys the 2x4's that hold the cardboard up. I can respect that.

I can understand the RO telling you to not touch anything on the table during a cold range. To many new shooters who dont fully understand things and I wouldnt want one of them doing something stupid. Granted that doesnt apply to you but I can understand the RO's side of it too

Yeah I see what you're saying. If he would have better handled the situation I wouldn't of been as bothered by it. I also left the part out where later in the day he was packing up his gear while people were down range. He saw me staring at him and before I could say anything he stopped what he was doing.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
So I finally decided to jump in on the Airflow GB, since I know we have a few guys that got them last time around I may need some of your expert help to get it installed. I'm not too scared to drill a hole in the fender but it would be nice to have someone that's done it before looking over my shoulder that can stop me before I F anything up too bad.
