AM visited that rock by foot, but it's completely inaccessible short of a very long (days/weeks?) hike. Only a minor portion of the greater AMHT is accessible by vehicle, for the most part everything west of our adventure is hiking only.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
    Thanks for clearing that up.

We really enjoyed this season. My gf also said she would have liked more "get to know you" scenes as was mentioned above. She really enjoyed that about the alaska season, although I'm not sure if she would find you guys quite as interesting as the wives (no offense).

I noticed that my last post skipped over positive feedback and went straight to my question about the end of the trail. I'd like to add that we were very impressed with many aspects of the show, mostly outlined by @MeefZah above. It's awesome to have a wheeling/adventure show to watch with good cinematography and a good cast. Not only is it entertaining for us, but you help to give us all a better name by showing the world what responsible trail users look like. Too many YouTube videos paint us as drunk-driving heavy-treading rednecks.

This is by far the best season. I am not an overlander, so too much emphasis on the 'culture of the area' aspect and I am bored. You guys had a nice balance of driving mixed with the hippie dippie overland stuff (lol). I like it a lot in that respect.

The flow of the story was very well managed. When you guys came to the realization that you might not have time to finish, I was on the edge of my seat. The way you guys put it together made me want you guys to overcome and finish the trail. I am not a film maker, so I am not sure exactly how you did that, but I felt as if I was really invested in your adventure while watching

Great stuff, as usual! Makes me want to pack up the truck and head to Canada.

Clay is so intense with his scarf and tactical gloves. Cracked me up.

Yeah, there's no mosquitoes in Central America... o_O

At least the ones in Canada won't give you Zika.

Both have far too many Mosquitos but the Canada ones seemed thicker and more aggressive. :D

Great show, I really enjoy watching. As a new member to TW, and someone looking to get into some short expedition "lite" trips, could you please share some more regarding your preparation to deal with bears? Conventional backpacking has three separate areas: sleeping upwind from your cooking and food storage areas. With rtt, all of your food is stored directly below you, and it appears your set up has you cooking on the tailgate.

Am I overly worried about bears? Did you have more precautions that you decided not to include in the show (perimeter trip wires, guard duty, etc.)?

The habitat seems like the perfect solution for me, I just can't get past the bear issue.

    Thanks

    Guard duty? Okay..... LOL

I assume the scarf keeps the bears at bay.

Well, when you cook in and near the vehicles all common "bear proofing" is out the door. Instead we carried bear spray and a 12 ga. shotty. I've done the same for trips in AK too.

Nice work. You guys really outdid yourselves with the cinematography on this one. Felt less commercial than CA and more of a "natural" narrative which I liked.

    Ditch the trailer.

Don't know about a list, but you can visit me. Good ol' Fort Nelson is basically a mandatory gas stop.

In case I'm not here anymore (currently looking for employment opportunities elsewhere), add "eat lunch at Dans pub" to your to-do list. It's nothing that special really, but there's no good food for a couple hours either way on the highway so you better fill your belly. Also fort nelson is a good time to fill all your spare jerry cans. fuel further north is even more expensive, especially at the small middle-of-nowhere stations.
