Just passed 25k miles on mine and they're still going strong - great wear and still relatively quiet. 235/85/16, load E if anybody's interested!

Finally got my new tires on that I bought 9-1-16. Mounted up 9-24-16 with my new center caps and locking black lug nuts. Down sized from a 285/75/16 to a 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac Load range C. I Like them so far. Not nearly as bad of a look as I tought it was gonna be with a smaller tire. Now im waiting on my new UCA's from CALMINI and a good alignment and I can go test them out!

So I just got my Duratracs 265/75/16s mounted on my rig the other day. Discount Tires set the pressure to 35. That seems a bit high to me for my truck, especially how light the rear end is.

I have seen alot of different posts on pressure for these tires, what is the consensus?

The same shit everyone else has.
I run my C rated 265/70/17s at 35 psi front & 30 psi rear. Rides pretty good and the wear is great.

Hows the noise? does it improve with lower pressure? I knew adding these tires would be noisier, but between 65-75 they sing ! lol. Im sure they need to be broken in more and the added noise isnt a surprise, just wondering if it can be improved.

Noise level goes UP when psi goes down. (More tire on the ground....larger contact patch)

These tires only get louder the more miles you put on them. I've had mine about 3 years now.

Ill be joining the Duratrac club I think. Being in Wyoming I have found that MT's just don't cut it. We don't see mud enough and November - May there is snow hitting the ground. I somehow survived two years with GY MTR-K's but man, I was scared every time I had to drive faster than 40mph or there were black ice warnings. The MTR's will be going to my land cruiser.

Looks like I can get 4 duratracs (315/75-r16) for $800 from the ebay discount tire. Pulling the trigger sometime next week.

Whats mileage are guys getting out of them? I have seen threads ranging from 25-65k...which is a large difference...

I just swapped out my duratracs earlier this week for a set of Hankook Dynapro ATMs. I found the original receipt this morning from when I bought them over 4 years ago, mileage on the truck was 107,xxx. Mileage when they came off was 176,xxx. I kept up with my tire rotations and they lasted a long time (almost 70k miles), and still had a little bit of life left in em.

I had mine for around 40k, they still had decent tread but we're terrible in ice and snow. They did awesome in the snow for about 30k. I ditched them for dynapros MTs cause of sidewalls and I rarely ever see show anymore.

Just ordered 265/75R16s for my 2012 RC 4x4 and am pretty excited!! I know others have said 16" wheels with the Duratrac's and no lift is fine with no rubbing but what 16" wheels are you guys referring to? Is the offset different between the 16" alloy and steel wheels? I have just the basic steel wheels and am a little concerned of clearing the upper control arm with no issues - not sure if I should order some spacers too.

I had 265/75r16 Duratracs on stock TRD OR alloy wheels. They worked well without spacers. No rubbing. Then I put 1" Bora spacers on just for looks. Loved the wider stance. Then I raised the front 3" and rear 2". STILL worked to perfection. Now therecs 285/75r16's on same set up with CMC,and some trimming. THAT works well too.
