What's the best flowmaster muffler that everybody is running? An are y'all using stock pipes?

I got the flowmaster 40 series (I think) and it was around $400 but wasn't stainless steel so it rusted and fell apart after 5-6 years. Also, try a search on YouTube and listen to some examples on there to find something that YOU like.

cat back bolts up to the cat converter and replaces the piping from that point back. My understanding is there is minimal gains on a stock truck so if you just want a better exhaust note then swap the muffler. I have had bad luck with flowmaster and good luck with magnaflow. My 02 has a JBA catback that has held up really well. I personally will be swapping out my muffler for the jones turbine with resonator (jt2525xl).

I think you should keep it stock. Adding a muffler to anything other than a v8 sounds like shit.

You know, this is true. I have yet to hear the throaty roar you get out of that Camaro come from any v6. These trucks come pretty much right on the exhaust system. Not much room for improvement.
