    I pulled my leafs out to reconfigure my leaf pack, and since I had them out I said what the hell and broke down the pack, and took the leaves to a spring shop for drilling.

    Twelve (12) holes plus isolators, $52 US out the door.

    Im in the same spot, do I keep trying different ways to keep them quiet? Or do I just say screw it and buy a new leaf pack, option #2 is starting to appeal more to me.

    I like what @Crom did above. However, aside from an add a leaf set up, these Dakars were the cheapest. I guess we get what we pay for.

    I still have my 2014 leaf pack- which was silent. May reinstall and purchase an add a leaf set up.

    Still thinking though everything. Dont want to make a mistake...

    I'm not sure why people would buy Dakars if they don't haul constant extra weight or tow a lot

    I love my Dakar's, even when they squeaked. Excellent at carrying loads and perform really well for my off road needs. My friend @HBMurphy is on his second pack after he wore the first one out after years of intense off road use lol.

    I just keep blasting mine with dry lube. Works for a while. Doesn't attract much dirt.

    Are the dakar bushings supposed to be greased just upon install? Or are they supposed to greased at different intervals following install as well? Because I'm starting to think that the people that installed my dakars maybe didn't grease the bushings...

    What kind of bushings do you have?

    Dakar only supplied one rubber bushing in the front. Customer was responsible for supplying rear.

    Good question. It's been a while, so I don't recall the specific shops. I found them by simply Googling suspension shops in Colo Spgs and Denver. Unfortunately, there weren't very many.

    The shop that did mine, was a big price difference between me bringing in my pack assembled vs. loose leaves. So you may want to ask both questions If you call around.
