Dies at higher RPMs

    Headers muffler lifted three levels noes
    Well I got a 98 Tacoma with the 3.4 it was running but would cut out sometimes then it would start but you went to give it gas and it would just bog out and that's it so I left it be next day went out and it wouldn't start at all so I figured fuel pump wouldn't build enough pressure so I put new pump in and same thing but I got it to start was and rev up but it still would cut out at higher Rpms and was under it and noticed my header would get glowing red hot when I would rev it up wondering what it could be ?

    It's got aftermarket Headders with no cats back to flow masters and not sure about timing the person I got it from just did the timing belt about 15k ago it ran fine up until now

    Fox 2.5’s up front, icon 2.0 rear shocks, stock leafs, !Meso map and dome lights make all the difference in the world!
    Check timing, and then go fill truck with injector cleaner... And 110 octane clean that truck out Wondering what's happening,

    Headers glowing red I thought was a normal thing

    It sounds a little like when my spark plugs were going bad - how fresh are they? Has the MAF sensor been cleaned?

    And are you sure you're running no cat? Just wanna make sure the guy who sold you the truck wasn't blowing smoke, it's getting pretty hard to register a vehicle like that these days.
