I thought the ECGS bushing was for the driver's side diff bearing?

Still sucks that you're getting the vibes. I crossed my fingers so hard that I wouldn't get them after I installed mine and luckily to this day I haven't had any vibes.

Honestly I think it's just luck of the draw. I know a couple of local guys lifted even more than I am and they've never had to replace their diff bushings either.

I'm 23 and quarter up front and 24 and a quarter in the back. Loving it so far. I'm on the 4th setting and glad I chose it. I was thinking about removing a leaf before the install, but glad I decided to keep the whole pack together. The stock UCAs are holding strong believe it or not. Granted I don't have much miles on them - tires are looking good. I had a mild vibration around 40. I installed in carrier bearing drop kit. The vibes are pretty much gone at this point. I get a slight vibe around 20 mph, it's almost non existent.. you seriously have to be looking for it to tell.

I put 6112s on my 13 DCLB three weeks ago. Ordered them built from Headstrong on the 4th notch with a 1/4" top plate spacer on the drivers side. Before measurements from hub to fender were 20" drivers side, 20 3/8" passenger side. After measurements were about 22 3/8" on the drivers side and 22 3/4" on the passenger side. No extra weight on the front. No settling after 500 miles of highway driving. Not sure why the passenger side is still 1/2" higher than the driver's side which has the 1/4" spacer. I plan to remove them, drop to the 3rd notch, switch the spacer to the passenger side C/O and then put it on the driver's side and see if that makes any difference in the lean. Kind of a weird deal. I called HS and they were a bit stumped as well. Airbags in the rear, but I'll put some kind of 3-leaf pack in there eventually as the air pressure required to level the truck makes for a stiff ride. That and either some 5100s or 5125s should smooth thing up a bit in the rear. The 6112s up front feel really nice and controlled and I hope just a touch softer on the third notch.

    Don't bother.

I put a 3/8" spacer on mine and I'm still slightly higher on the passenger side. Just the nature of these it seems.

FYI the TRD Pro / TRD Baja suspension corrects this by moving the driver's side spring perch up by 1 notch. That's a big difference from left to right.

Interesting. Since I have to pull them off to drop a notch, I might swap anyway just to see. Glad to see someone else is having a similar experience though......I thought maybe my tape measure was broken or something.

Definitely report back when you do it. I'm thinking of going in the opposite direction, from #3 to #4 and adding a 3-leaf AAL at the same time. I'll be interested to hear how the ride quality compares.

We'll do. Which AAL are you going with? I'm thinking Headstrong and removing one of the 3 leafs. Shooting for 2 1/4" rear lift. Wheelers, Toytec and Icon are other options, but I got the 6112s from HS.....

I'm intending to go with the 3-leaf progressive AAL probably from Wheeler's or Headstrong and removing the overload.

Going to snag a set of 265/75/16 tires before I do any more suspension work, though. I'm putting her together one piece at a time.

This actually happened to me I did it all myself except for compressing the springs cause the rental from AutoZone didn't cut it. So I brought it to a local shop and a" MECHANIC" and I use that term loosely. So I dropped em off and 30mins later came back and he had the spring seats upside down, so I nicely ttold him this and to my surprise this MFer got in my face and told me straight up well if your so smart how come I have to do it for you. So we then ended up arguing over this for another 5- 10mins and the guy ended up refusing to fix iit and told me I should stick to running saws (that's my job cutting steel/stainless/aaluminum/toolsteel at a metal supply co) and let him worry about whats correct in automotive repairs. OH YA and to top it all off the MFer charged me 80bucks just to compress and assemble the coil springs onto the shocks CRAZY right

How is the ride at 4th setting? I have the 5100/Toytec spacer set up and it is stiff as fuck. I go over speed bumps and feels lit it only drops a tiny bit to a big-ass clunk ??

Are you running the springs that come with the 6112 or something else ?

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but very curious how this turned out! Did it settle???

I have the exact same Taco (07, 4x4, AC, OR) and was dead set on #3 setting + AAL (no overload), but I only want ~1.6" lift in front and ~1.5" in the rear.

But if that will give me a full 2"+, I might go with the #2 notch and wait until my TSB leafs wear out before I go with an AAL.

Sorry for the late response. The springs hardly settled. I just measured again and it looks like the passenger side settled down 1/4". Front hub to center of fender measurements are now both at 22.75".

LOL no worries on the delay, I'm the one who resurrected a thread from over 2 years ago!

    Thanks for the update!

Resurrecting this old thread one more time because I have a very similar truck. What notch did you end up putting it on? How's the ride?

Not really. I'm wanting to buy the pre-assembled kit so I can install it myself so I plan to just go with the 650lb option they offer.

How's the ride been? Did you ever change the notch and lower it?

Y'all ever add any more front weight like bumper, winch, etc?

So if I’m looking to get 1.5” lift up front what clip ring setting would I go with? I know you usually have to do one higher on the driver than the passenger.

Short answer: Depends on which Tacoma configuration you have. Here's the table/guide directly from Bilstein's install guide document.
