You should throw up a pic of them on there. Would be interested to see the clearance.

On the street with the stock baja suspension and on MY baja they rub ever so lightly on the plastic fender liner when I enter a driveway with the wheels turned and a bit fast
Otherwise they don't rub on the street.

Off road I am pretty sure they will rub quite a bit. In prep for that I have had the CMC done and will have the pinch weld flattened shortly.

Mileage may vary which is why I never presume to tell people their setup will rub.

My setup is 285/75/R16 in the stock Baja rims. BFG KO2s

I totally understand. Mine are 285/75-16 Nitto Terra Grapplers(one of few D rated tires in this size) on stock Baja rims. Never know how actual size will compare between different brands.

Looks nice. How are you adjusting to the power drag? Im sure your SC helps alot.

Didn't really notice much of a difference yet, only went and got an alignment and back home today. We will see how it feels over the next week or so. I'm sure the SC will make up for the added weight, the overall look is well worth it. Planning to go to Gorman next weekend to see how the new tires handle off-road.

So now my stupid antenna hits the garage door with the new tires and lift. What is the best replacement antenna that is just a hair shorter? I am not looking for a stubby, something around 5-6" shorter that will not affect my reception. Reccomendations??

I've been on my 285 ko2's for 4ish months now and I'd say the SC does help with the power drag, but there is a noticeable decrease in acceleration from stock tires.

I'm also getting around 240 per tank around town now, and closer to 270 highway....I'd be interested to hear your initial thoughts Georgeth1022.

Shit.....I can definitely tell ya going from the 265 to a bigger tire I lost mpg's. When I first put my s/c on I had 295's on my truck. I've since switched to the 285's. (no noticeable deference in the 295's to 285's).....240 a tank sounds about right....so long as I stay out of boost.....which is hard!!

Wait....you can stay out of boost? I think mines only got one setting and that's GO GO GO.

At first I was hoping to salvage the gas mileage with "conservative" driving and no big heavy accessories but I've given up on that. It might be time for a cap and armor.....:D

It's hard at times for sure to drive this thing conservatively....hell after all I slapped this thing on there to have fun.
That kinda added weight would definitely make ya guzzle some more gas. Are you gonna do full armor? Front , rear, and skids??
