Mid travel overland-wheeler build with 35's and BS w/ SAS in the works

I'll have to check them out. I was on there a little ago but only saw a plate to mount them on.

Yeah that's what I was thinking also

 

It's still a tough spot to mount it cause you don't want it underneath to get ripped off when wheeling, I was thinking above or below one of the tag lights but think that may be too far off center. What about just above the plate in that space or would the tailgate hit it when you open it?

 

I'll have to check more tomorrow. Might install on my swingout beside the jerrycan

 

Oh yeah, forgot about the swingout. And I was gonna ask why you were relocating it. Haha
Only thing is the wires when you swing it out, unless there is a part that stays put.

Wires will come from the passenger side. If you want it on the swingout and centered, you will have to extend the wires.

Then you just need a new bracket.

What's brackets are need to hold the wire to the swingout?

 

I would think you could drill holes at each end of the tube & fish the wires through, that would look clean & protect the wires at the same time.

 

Millions of options out there. Just choose the one that tickles your fancy. You could even just zip tie it.

That is definitely an option!
