He never received my email explaining the concern but he got the email with the pics.
We have spoken on the phone and he requested more pics showing the differences between the 2 sides (driver+passenger). I also sent him the close-up pics of the arms meeting the bushing-tubes, so he could see the differences and the pics showing the distance of the arms being approximately 1/2"-5/8" shorter than the stock arms. He hasn't gotten back to me yet and I've been at work tonight. I'll see what he says, when I wake up in the afternoon.

He agreed with me that the arms should be the same measurements on each side, as they are made in jigs that are essentially to be mirror images of each other. I just don't know why he doesn't go measure his jigs. They could be off. If they are made from a solid design then they shouldn't be able to warp or bend from heat or usage.

I have no doubt that he will do the right thing. He seems to be a good, Christian, businessman. I really appreciate his efforts.
It's good to hear that he already measured his jigs. Hopefully, my concern will help bring attention to allow him to make corrections. It's nice that you can help.
I work 12.5 hr shifts, so it can be difficult to make time for everything and rest. I'm a Respiratory Therapist and work in NICU and everywhere else when needed. It can test my faith in people at times.

I'd like to state again that it is not my intention to post bad press. I'll try to remain impartial in my observations, which can be difficult sometimes. Forums can quickly become a complaint and rumor mill. I don't want to be any part of that way of thinking.

Nothing yet. I know he's got a shop to run and all.... I work the next couple of nights and so I'll call him on Friday. I am going to dismantle and remove his arms to do side by side comparisons to each other, to stock arms, and to my new replacements. The new replacements already measure equally to each other and are approximately 7/8" longer than the stock arms. The extra length accounts for the increased angle from lift and should allow for the corrected camber and front axle width.

IMG_0092.jpg IMG_0093.jpg IMG_0094.jpg So, there was a big difference between these UCAs and the stock ones. Here's a side by side comparison With JBAs and stock, side by side with both stock shows mirror image of each other, and side by side with new uniball UCAs and stock. Getting alignment right now and the camber and caster are WAY out after changing to new arms. The top of tire and wheel tipped out over 1/2" and there's way more room between rear of tire and body mount/fender liner.

JBA UCAs are boxed and will ship back, today. He said he is waiting to see why they are different.
There was also a difference of where the balljoint was installed into each arm, with one being approximately 3/16" further towards rear of vehicle.
There is no longer ANY rubbing, even before alignment, and much more space at rear of fenderwell.
Hopefully, it was a fluke and every other set of UCAs are okay. Mistakes happen but I'm glad that I measured my arms...

Tuff Country. I've had Donaho Racing and Camburg in the past and they all do the same thing for way different costs. I've seen Tuff Country stuff ridden hard on trails for many years and the company never hesitates to fix a problem.
It didn't hurt that their UCAs were $429+free shipping and lifetime replacement.

Here are the new alignment specs. Notice how far out the 'before' measurements were compared to the finished alignment. That shows how far out the previous UCAs were before these new ones. I changed nothing but the UCAs. If you look in my previous posts, you will see the first alignment showed all green. So it shouldn't have changed much at all with new UCAs.....

I have enough clearance now to fit 285/75r16s and not rub. Oh, well.

Oh, he didn't do anything to take care of the problem yet. He emailed an RTA label and said he needs to see what happened and why they are different and that he would send a refund when he receives the arms. I said I was okay without original shipping refunded but I'm feeling differently, now that I saw them off my truck and compared them to stock and others....

Could it be the reason the ball joint is moved is to add more caster? Seems like the TC UCA's wouldn't add as much.

Only reason I'm wondering is I'm eyeing these for when I lift my truck as I like the idea of using a GM ball joint.

That is good to know. My lift goals have been a moving target but I think I've finally settled on a full OME kit with 886's and Dakars.

These arms seem like a good alternative to the SPC Light Racing arms. Those GM balljoints are beefy, I've replaced them on a Chevy and they last 100k+ easy under a 6000k truck powered by a big block.

So the above situation is the only case of this happening for all of the people out there that have these? I very much like these as an alternative to the LR uca but living in Canada and needing my truck (so I can't have long periods of downtime) has me a little worried if I have to deal with something like Furry's situation.
