@njn636 Pics of a proper dust seal and a broken one? Thinking mine might be bad, like 90% sure I ordered a replacement with you and it came (minus the CV nut, mmmmmhmmmmm). Waiting on my regear to replace the front CV and wheel bearing at the same time since the CV threads are toast (hence the need for a CV nut)

How often do you ship out? Got one just starting to make the death noise, planning on buying a pair ('cause I know a guy named Murphy) but leaving for a week long beach fishing trip on Friday 10/21. Don't want to order, then have them sit on the porch for a week. And the only friend/neighbor I'd ask to keep an eye out for them is going with me.

I don't have pictures of a damaged one but the seal usually tears and the spring goes missing. I can post a picture of a new one.

PM me your address and I'll get the CV nut out to you

Hmmmm ok, Ill have to look in to it some more. I think my issue was torque setting on this last bearing. The axle got burred up and I basically had to crossthread the nut on since I didnt have a spare CV at the time and tried to set the torque as close as possible but I'm pretty sure it was overtorqued. Spare CV ready now, with bearing waitimg patiently for funds for a regear now. Probably gonna order 2 more bearings from you with upgraded studs at some point and have some spares :)

Just ordered a pair this morning off your site. Had to buy 4 tires for the winter last week, and the shop wanted to do the wheel bearings then. Front two bad, wanted $938 installed. No thank you, came home started researching, and found these. Looking forward to being able to hear my radio at anything lower than full volume again.

    Hi Hub Master,
Just ordered a front set for my 08 taco tonight. Just want to confirm that all the parts I need will be in my order. Been reading your thread and I totally get out of stock parts. Just let me know if there is anything I need to source prior to pulling it all apart next weekend. Mostly concerned about seals. See you had that as separate item on your commerce site.
    thnx

    Hello to all,

Got a question. My truck's been making the dreaded front end roaring noise for a couple of months, so yesterday I swapped out the left side differential needle bearing for the ECGS bushing. However, she's still roaring. While I had the left hub assembly detached from the cv axle, it was very apparent that the wheel bearing was bad--it was making a clicking noise when rotated and I could feel the bearings binding.

My question is this: I haven't checked the right side wheel bearing yet, but is it common practice to go ahead and change both sides when one goes bad?

    Thanks.

Absolutely. When parts come in pairs, it's always a good practice to change both sides. They have both worn for the same amount of time and usually both fail within a given amount of time between each other.
